There are several forms of sponsorship that pertain to different visa classes and subclasses. You need to be aware of this when beginning your application as some of them have considerable payments and obligations attached.
This applies to some skilled visas, business skilled visas and employer sponsored visas. They are more like an ‘endorsement' rather than a sponsorship and they attract certain obligations from the visa applicant.
This again is an endorsement of the business proposal to employ an overseas worker in a regional business. The sponsorship attracts an obligation from the applicant to live and work in a regional area for 2 years from the grant of the visa.
This is required for visas applied for through the Family Stream categories. There are strict requirements of relationship and the sponsor must declare that they will be responsible for the applicant and their family (if applicable). These conditions vary from visa to visa. Some of these sponsorships require large bond money to be deposited for determined periods of time.
This is where an employer sponsors an overseas worker on a temporary visa (usually Subclass 457). The business owner has many obligations to meet with regard to the welfare and employment of the applicant and their respective family members.
